Baby shoes?

Do babies need shoes to come home from the hospital in?

Baby shoes?
No. It would probably be more of a pain to worry about anyway. Shoes, while ascetically pleasing, are only necessary when a baby is walking, and then only when they are walking outside. Shoes should be used for protection primarily.
Reply:socks will surfice
Reply:No, just socks or sleepers with feet
Reply:no they dont need to.it is up to you.i am 27 weeks and when this one is born im not going 2 worry about shoes.he will b in jumpsuits so im not going 2 worry straight away
Reply:no, they do not need shoes until they are standing and trying to walk. Then get them walker shoes.

Barefoot is NOT the best way to learn to walk. Babies start to walk around on there tip toes. If you dont put them in shoes then you will have that problem for a long time. I had a friend that delt with it for years.
Reply:No, only socks my kids did not wear shoes until it was cold outside and they had too when they started walking or for warmth.
Reply:no
Reply:no, lol
Reply:You don%26#039;t need to start putting them in shoes until they are standing on dirty or cold surfaces.
Reply:No, just socks are fine. A baby actually doesn%26#039;t need shoes until after they learn to walk (barefoot is best for learning to walk!) :)
Reply:No way! Let baby be comfy. If it is cold, socks and bundled in a blanket is plenty.
Reply:nope! i can%26#039;t even imagine trying to get shoes onto squishy newborn baby feet!
Reply:no just socks or really wrap it up... my girl is 10 months and she still doesnt wear shoes.
Reply:Nope. But this time of year, socks is a VERY good idea. Or even some cute little booties to keep his/her feet warm.
Reply:no, usually the baby is wrapped nicely in a blanket
Reply:no they don%26#039;t need them for awhile
Reply:nope, our baby came home in socks
Reply:No! A blanket and a pair of socks will do just fine. If you must have shoes make sure they are like slippers. Stride rite sells them I cannot think of what they are called. Baby will be happiest in just some socks and blanket. Baby will still warm too that way. I%26#039;m still just doing socks and blanket with my baby.
Reply:NO, shoes are not required. I brought Noah home in a blue onesie. You could bring your newborn home in socks or bare feet (depending on the weather).

I got my newborn son Converse crib shoes from psychobabyonline.com. That website has a lot of fun baby stuff.
Reply:I would check LittleRuler.com or Zappos.com
Reply:www.zappos.com, free shipping!
Reply:Amazon has a good selection and so does zappo.com. Just search for etnie infant shoes.

Baby shoes?

My wife just had a kid and shes wondering what kind of spiffy baby shoes are out there for the little buster! We want some cute ones for the kid, at a reasonable price, of course. Is there a site that could provide us with a nice selection?

Thanks!

Baby shoes?
Until a baby can walk, they need soft bottom shoes that aren%26#039;t too heavy (heavy shoes can interfere with proper muscle development). These are often called %26quot;crib shoes%26quot;. I happen to like Yahoo Shopping. Just type %26quot;crib shoes%26quot; in the search box, then sort by price. Also, there are many websites that sell shoes with free shipping and free returns, such as zappos.com.

They%26#039;re so darn cute. Not exactly %26quot;resonably priced,%26quot; but they are by far the best shoes I%26#039;ve ever seen for kids just starting to walk.

Robeez and Bobux are awesome for little ones who aren%26#039;t walking yet. (My kids wore them out once they became bipedal, but they were great until then...)

Baby shoes?

My daughter has really wide feet and I have had a hard time finding baby shoes in wide, any suggestion?

Baby shoes?
if I were you i%26#039;d go to payless because they have wide shoes for babies... also if you find a wide shoe that you like in a different size you cant ask them to look for them and if they dont have it at there store they can call other stores for you. :) hope that helps :)
Reply:Nordstrom.com has a wide variety of wide width shoes and their half yearly sale started today so you could probably get a good deal! Also, depending on your daughters age and walking or crawling skills, Robeez are great! My son had them for 6 months until 18 months. He%26#039;s a runner now so he needs the speedy shoes, that%26#039;ll take a beating.
Reply:For a cheap answer go to walmart or payless they have shoes in wide. My daughter has little fat feet too. That or do robeez they are cute and almost like socks. You can find them on the internet and even at whole food stores
Reply:my daughter has wide feet too, kswiss makes some good shoes
Reply:Robeez are nice and roomy. I think Stride Rite also makes wide widths.
Reply:Stride Rite!
Reply:My daughter had the same problem.....I had to get the brand Stride Rite.
Reply:Is she walking? My son has really amazingly chubby, wide feet. We love Preschoolians. You can get them for babies who don%26#039;t walk, all the way up to kids%26#039; sizes. They are the only shoes he didn%26#039;t cry and try to pull off!! All other shoes left red marks on his feet. We just got his 3rd pair, a summer sandal. I promise your baby will outgrow them before they fall apart, they%26#039;re really well made and worth every penny. You can get any shoes they have in crawler, walker or runner. They%26#039;re never clunky or hard like other baby shoes. Plus they%26#039;re really cute!! I have bought Stride Right too and these are much better, they impressed our doctor.
Reply:Go to the store and buy the Weebox. My son has a wide foot and the Weebox were only $9.00 and cute as could be. I also shopped at a Shoe Carnival for the best prices. Children do not need %26quot;baby shoes%26quot; barefoot is fine too. Sometimes the cheap places like WalMart carry wide shoe. Shoe carnival was the ticket for me.
Reply:stride rite They have them on ebay as well. They are wonderful shoes

Where can I find those old white baby shoes? They are white with hard brown bottoms. You put them on a baby who is just learning to walk. We all had them as a baby, so they are old fashioned.

Baby Shoes?
I wouldn%26#039;t know where you might find that specific type of shoe, but Stride Rite has awesome shoes for little feet, super comfortable and full of support. I remember that%26#039;s all my mom used on my younger brother and sister, and I have bought them for my own children.

Good luck!!

Reply:I would check stride rite or possibly look in actual department stores. I know we found some for our daughter at the Navy Exchange but we were able to find them Value City also.

They are called Walking shoes or some places call them walkers.
Reply:Try StrideRite (www.striderite.com). They have great shoes for kids and when my brother was younger my mom always got them there because they had good supportive shoes for little kids.
Reply:It is actually better for baby%26#039;s foot development to have flexible soled shoes.
Reply:I found a pair at Walmart for my little boy who is now almost 4 but that was 3 years ago... They were made by Kid Connection... I still have them and going to use them for my next baby too... Good Luck.
Reply:I don%26#039;t think you can get them anymore but ask your parents, maybe they saved yours. Seriously - mine gave them to me when my baby started to walk :-)

Baby shoes?

How old was your baby when they wore there first pair of shoes? Mine was 1 month when he started wearing his first pair. I think it is too cold to let a baby go out in socks. I have a friend with a 8 month old with no shoes.

Baby shoes?
I agree baby look cute and also keep their feet warm the shoes, but u dont need to buy expensive shoe until he starts to walk I always bought my son stride rite shoes they measure them and fit the shoe to their feet they need good shoes for walking so their feet grow right and they walk right no more high backs their ankles do not get strong like that just normal sneakers
Reply:Neither of my kids wore shoes until they started walking. That was 14 months for my son and 12 months for my daughter. Before that they wore socks on cold days, and never had any problems with cold feet.
Reply:My child never wore shoes until 4 to 5 months.. he usually wear socks.. but it is better to get them to wear shoes at an early age. so they can get used to it..
Reply:my son has never wore shoes. he is 4.5 months
Reply:my baby was about 3 weeks
Reply:My children were both almost one when they got their first shoes. They don%26#039;t need shoes until they are walking. My first didn%26#039;t wear socks or tights till she started crawling.
Reply:My babies didn%26#039;t wear shoes until they walked, at about a year old. I had read in several places that it was not good for their feet to wear shoes too early. That was several years ago. Perhaps times have changed, but my kids survived it, and so will your friend%26#039;s child. :-)

P. S. They have very nice feet. lol

Baby shoes??

how big of a diffrence is a pair 0 baby shoe and a size 1 baby shoe i heard its like 3 1/2 and 3 1/4th. is that alot? theres an adorable pair of shoes i want for my little one but shes got tiny feet and the smallest they make it in is a size 1. does anyone know where i can print out one of those foot charts to see how big my babys foot really is all ive found is a european one which hasnt helped at all thanks in advance! Kayla

Baby shoes??
If you like them why sont you just get them. SHe will eventually grow into them. I bought this gorgeous pair of Nike shoes I had to buy them 3 sizes to big. But she is nearly there 1 more size to go. Sorry I cant help you I am in Oz and our charts are different to yours.
Reply:its okey to get bigger shoes since you can fill it out with thick socks. and since the baby is not walking then the shoes should stay on. get something with a strap on it.
Reply:save your money! Babies that aren%26#039;t walking don%26#039;t need shoes! I have seen those little Nikes that cost more than MY shoes! And- babies learn to walk easier when they are barefoot...we have feet like monkeys- we grip with our toes..If you put shoes (especially those hard ones) on a baby they can%26#039;t feel the ground beneath them!
Reply:Look in JC Penney%26#039;s catalog or look online at one of the major department stores for more information on foot size.

You can also go to this website http://www.trimfootco.com/shoe-size-char...

and click on %26quot;foot size guide%26quot; and a chart will pop-up in which you can print out and measure your baby%26#039;s foot.
Reply:Wats up with u. This is not the right time for ur baby to pair her/his feet with shoes. Let her start walking. Dont force ur baby into shoes unless %26amp; until he/she starts to walk. Let the baby wobble n walk in barefoot which wil strengthen the feet muscles. And cuming to the point of size of shoes never opt any loose fitting shoes for ur baby. U should give much priority to the fitness of baby shoes. if the shoe is loose then the baby may trip to fall while walking. You can get better information on baby foot care %26amp; baby shoes in http://shoecapital.com/.

Baby Shoes?

I%26#039;m having trouble finding soft (pre-walking) baby shoes in a large enough size for my baby. He wears a 5-1/2 extra wide shoe. I have searched the internet (i.e. Stride Rite, Robeez, BobuxUSA, amongst others) and have gone into multiple stores. So far, I have not found a baby shoe that is appropriate for him in his size. I am looking for a shoe that will protect him from the cold (snowy) weather where I live and that will be comfortable for him. Any suggestions???

Baby Shoes?
I answered your other question, find your local Stride Rite, My son wears a extra wide as well , we have been buying him Stride Rite only for his entire life (20 months) the stores carry a ton, it is the only place you wil find them aside from going on Ebay %26amp; typing in 5 1/2 extra wide under the shoe catagorly you may fid some new, however Robeez are very narrow %26amp; they do not make a wide.
Reply:well u could always get booties (slippers for babies) but because he is not walking it doesnt matter if the are sofy sole they are just for look/warmth. also look at wal-mart hanging on the end of the isles in shoe department they have cheap (some cute some ugly) soft sole shoes
Reply:I never used shoes for my daughter before she was walking. There%26#039;s really no need, other than appearance. I had some thick socks my baby wore, and as an infant before walking, she wore a snowsuit in the winter. No need for shoes. Just make sure they are warm and bundled up.
Reply:Try Darling Shoes.com and also Zappos.com. They have an excellent selection of XW shoes. You might not get Pre-Walkers, but can get some soft boots.
Reply:I don%26#039;t think I%26#039;ve ever seen extra wide baby shoes. Maybe you could try going up to a 6 or 7? Since he%26#039;s not walking, it probably wouldn%26#039;t bother him. My son is wearing a size 3 at 9 months old, and we buy his shoes at Wal-Mart and BabiesRUs, mostly.

And if all else fails, you could just do two pairs of socks and some soft booties. Sorry I can%26#039;t be more help! Good luck!
Reply:Stride Rite does have XWide. My son (2 years) still wears a double XW. He has chunky feet.

When he was real little it was either Stride Rite or Robeez.
